Jamesis a wonderful Springer Spaniel, quite mad, but well trained and a wonderful companion. He is fully trained in support dog techniques, and clients and students are invited to work him just for the experinece!
Jeremy & Jonathon often visit the training barn to teach dogs their manners!
Jonathon and Jeremyare our resident cats, who regularly join in the day time sessions
We have also been joined by Bin Larden, who earned his name by terrorising other catsd on the farm. After a week, he decided my back door was the safest place to be, and after a week of hoping he would go away, I fed him, and popped him down to Hollybush vets in Bridgnorth, where Ryan took on the mighty job of neutering and grooming out with minimal blood loss (to Ryan and nurses) Many thanks to them for that! (Photo to follow).
You can even learn to clicker train our Miniature ponies !
Snap, Crackle, Pop and Riciclecame to us as babies who would have been on their way to the dreaded meat sales. Funny little scraps, they soon responded to a proper feeing regime, and in their first year learned clicker training, football and 'people pleasing'. In their second year they began long reining properly, beginning their training in 'ride and drive.' They are all ridden by toddlers, and getting on with their driving training. We welcome anyone who is interested in either bringing children for riding, or joining in with driving activities. (As you can see, Pops also retrieves dumbells!) There is no charge for this, but we ask for a small donation to PDSA. Phone 01746 764332.
